After the launch of the Ypsilon Rally4 and the Trofeo Lancia, the Italian brand is taking a new step this summer 2025 with the introduction of the Ypsilon HF Racing, homologated in Rally6. This provides a gateway to competition for a new generation of drivers thanks to low costs, simplified regulations and vehicles derived from series production.
To meet the technical requirements of this category, this Ypsilon HF Racing is equipped with a 3-liter 1,2-cylinder turbo engine developing 145 hp and 240 Nm of torque. This is combined with a six-speed manual gearbox and a mechanical differential, guaranteeing dynamism and responsiveness.
In addition, the chassis—identical to that of the Ypsilon Rally4 version—is extremely safe for this level of performance and complies with FIA standards. It is equipped with a homologated roll cage and safety systems that meet international standards.
The Ypsilon HF Racing is now available to order
Furthermore, the cockpit, dashboard and suspension design are those of its racing version, offering the driver an authentic and professional experience from the first kilometers. Finally, to guarantee braking performance in all conditions, the Lancia Ypsilon Racing HF is equipped with 302 mm front brakes, 290 mm rear brakes, and a mechanical handbrake.
Pricing-wise, the "ready-to-race" configuration will set you back €38 (excluding VAT). Furthermore, this new model is already available to order from the Stellantis Motorsport Racing Shop, with the first deliveries scheduled for after the summer.
“With the Ypsilon HF Racing, our ambition is to eliminate the barriers to entry into road racing once and for all, by offering a blend of high performance, safety and low running costs., says Luca Napolitano, CEO of Lancia. Our goal is to make motorsport a real opportunity for young people. We pay tribute to our racing heritage while looking resolutely to the future, with determination and ambition."
