While Oliver Solberg set the fastest time at 16:42.3, all eyes were on the... hand to hand which opposes Sébastien Ogier à Thierry NeuvilleThe French driver managed to gain an additional 3,1 seconds by setting the second fastest time on the special stage, and now holds an 8,1-second lead over the 2024 World Champion. Elfyn Evans set the third fastest time on the special stage.
Rain finally arrived at the end of the Rally1 stage. The cars to follow, particularly in WRC2, may be more affected. Sébastien Ogier was the most penalized by this sudden arrival of rain, although it didn't impact his performance.
In this category, there has been a change: Teemu Suninen is now the leader with a new fastest time in SS13. He now holds a 5,2-second lead over Jan Solans and 12,5 seconds over Roope Korhonen. Yohan Rossel remains fourth, while his teammate Nikolay Gryazin, not competing in WRC2 this weekend, lost ground in RC2 this morning.
