It only took one special stage to Sébastien Ogier to regain control of operations in this Rally from Portugal. While Oliver Solberg finished 4,5 seconds behind the nine-time world champion WRCHe took advantage of the situation to set the fastest time, finishing one-tenth of a second ahead of Finland's Sami Pajari. By regaining such a gap, the driver from Gap takes back the lead by 4 seconds, pending SS16, which is expected to be less wet.

It's worth noting that Jon Armstrong, who had a strong run in SS14 before the break, rolled his car 600 meters before ending his run, definitively ending any hope of a good result. Although the Irishman is unharmed, the image was certainly surprising to watch live. Finally, in WRC2, Finland's Roope Korhonen set the fastest time ahead of his compatriot Teemu Suninen. France's Yohan Rossel finished third in SS15.
