Since 1994, the French Federation of Motor Sport has been organizing the Rally FFSA Yacco Young Drivers, a unique operation to discover future rally talents. AUTOhebdo had the opportunity to go behind the scenes of this adventure through the eyes of our reporter Louise du Manoir, who was present at the first round of selections in Nancy.

There, she met Antoine Jarraud, the 2024 winner, who reflected on his journey since his victory at the FFSA Yacco Rallye Jeunes final in Lédenon last year. Enough to inspire all motorsport enthusiasts… even newcomers.

The qualifying rounds include a timed slalom, a handbrake turn, and an emergency stop. Amateurs or enthusiasts? Everyone is welcome to participate.

Three conditions: hold a valid French driver's license (category B) and be under 26 years old. As Antoine Jarraud aptly puts it, "For €20, you can become a pilot!" And if you're a male/female pair, you save €10. And this year, a major new feature: an all-female selection!
