The French shine at Rally of the Canary Islands. While Sébastien Ogier (ToyotaWhile the French driver leads the overall standings, the WRC2 category is dominated by Yohan Rossel (Lancia) on the eve of the finish. The French drivers are close to a strong showing in this class, as Léo Rossel (Citroën) is third, right behind Alenjandro Cachón (Toyota, 2nd), and Éric Camilli (Skoda) is just off the podium. Despite everything, the Frenchman is focusing on the positives, particularly the pace he showed on some stages, as evidenced by a final stage that saw a top 3 finish all-French. Now he just needs to finish strong on Sunday, even if the podium seems to have slipped away.
