Kalle Rovanperä continues her perfect day by securing a fourth consecutive scratch in as many specials this Saturday, during SS14. Penalized, Elfyn Evans almost said goodbye to the points distributed on Saturday evening.

Kalle Rovanperä is not in management at all! The Finn set a great time during SS14 in 8'19″6, 6″7 better than his closest pursuer, Sébastien Ogier. Thus, the double world champion widens the gap at the top of the Rally from Finland now 28″6 ahead of the Frenchman. It's a fourth consecutive scratch in as many specials this Saturday for the local hero.
The ordeal continues for Elfyn Evans: after encountering a driveshaft problem this morning which caused him to lose almost six minutes and his hopes of victory in Finland, the Welshman received a 2'40 penalty for leaving the park assistance 16 minutes late. The pilot Toyota was ejected from the Top 10, and he will need a miracle to hope to obtain points this Saturday evening, he who is relegated to 1'49″2 from 10th place after SS14.
