The organizers of Rally Greece certainly does not lack inventiveness, as demonstrated by this superspecial, which was traced around an EKO gas station, which is also the title sponsor of the rally. Taking a motorway slip road, the special stage allowed many fans to see the World Rally Championship cars in a different environment to the one they are used to seeing at the Acropolis.

Thierry Neuville finished the day as he had started it, with a scratch, four tenths ahead Sébastien Ogier (Toyota), and 2″3 ahead of Dani Sordo (Hyundai). The three men also appear on the podium in the general classification in no particular order, Neuville ahead of Sordo and Ogier. Championship leader Neuville will thus score 18 points if he finishes the rally tomorrow, by virtue of his leading position this Saturday evening.

Elfyn Evans (Toyota), who rolled over during SS11, was unable to start this final night-time special stage due to extensive damage. However, he should be back tomorrow morning for the "Super Sunday", where 12 points will be up for grabs if a driver manages to be the fastest on the Sunday special stages and the Power Stage that closes the rally.
