Jari-Matti Latvala relieved after Toyota double in Chile: "We had to stay fully focused"

Is there any relief after this double in Chile?

After the two disastrous Sundays in Finland and in Acropolis, this feels good. It allows us to reduce the pressure and at the same time there was a good operation in the championship. It is the first time that we have managed to have such a good Sunday since the introduction of the new points scale.

When you arrived at the Acropolis you were more negative. Does this result in Chile still allow you to believe in it?

In Greece I was more negative than I should have been. There was, however, the disappointment of seeing the accident of Sébastien Ogier in the Power Stage. We had a team discussion before coming to Chile to remind everyone that it was not over and that we had to stay fully focused.

Do you consider yourself to be in the title fight again?

We are back in the battle for the Constructors' title. It is a satisfaction for us, but also for our leaders in Japan. It is the most important and now that the Drivers' title has moved away, our crews will be able to concentrate mainly on the latter.
