Alongside Geoffrey Combe, the duo got off to a good start in the No.2 Volkswagen Polo R19 and found themselves in 13th position overall after the first day of their inaugural four-wheel drive outing.
More comfortable with the settings and conditions, the duo then put in a brilliant performance to move closer to the top 10, eventually finishing 11th overall and fourth in the Rally2 France Amateur Trophy.
They will try to take advantage of this performance during the last round of their campaign in the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France, which will take place as part of the Rally from Var on November 23 and 24.
"I am very happy that my first event in Rally2 was crowned with success with a magnificent fight for the top 10, rejoiced Pablo Sarrazin. We improved during each stage and, throughout the 200 kilometres of special stages, we made no mistakes, allowing us to finish the weekend in a good position. I would like to thank KCMG for this opportunity, and the team for giving us a very competitive car.
“We are very pleased to have been able to give Pablo this opportunity at just 18 years old, and we have been impressed by his ability to adapt to a faster and bigger car, said Paul Ip, founder of KCMG. The duo made no mistakes during the weekend, which is great, and they battled with some very high-quality drivers who regularly compete at this level. They learned a lot from this experience, and we hope they will use it to finish their Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup France campaign well in November.”
