On his home turf, Hugo Margaillan (i20 N Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) is in the rhythm with a second fastest time ahead of Mathieu Franceschi (Fabia RS Rally2-AMD Motorsport), returning for a one-off appearance in the French Championship.

Fourth in this special stage, Raphaël Astier (A110 GT-P-CHL Sport Auto) is ahead of Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-Trajectus Motorsport).

First on the road, Sébastien Loeb (A110 GT-P-GL Automobiles Service Compétition) is currently in sixth place: "I was a bit tense in the car. It's difficult to get comfortable, the tires were cold at the start of the stage."
