Sébastien Loeb (A110 GT-P-GL Automobiles Service Compétition) may give it his all, but he will have to wait a little longer to set a fastest time on this 71st edition of the Rally from the Var!
Indeed, the Alsatian driver set another second-fastest time behind Raphaël Astier (A110 GT-P-CHL Sport Auto). Alpine have a firm grip on this special stage in Bormes les Mimosas.
Third in this stage, Eric Camilli (i20 N Rally2-2C Compétition) regains the rally lead. He benefits from the poor performance of Hugo Margaillan (i20 N Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) who lost more than a minute on this stage due to mechanical problems.
Réhane Gany (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) quickly found his rhythm in the French Championship with a fourth time ahead of Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-Trajectus Motorsport).
The provisional rally standings keep changing. Camilli has retaken the lead. Bonato is second, 2,1 seconds behind the leader, while Astier has moved into second place ahead of Loeb. They're all within 5 seconds of each other. It's going to be exciting!
