Haas and Alfa Romeo will not have the evolution of the Ferrari engine in Spain

Earlier in the week, the Team Ferrari had confirmed that it was taking in its boxes, with a view to the Catalan trip to Barcelona, an evolution of its V6 turbo/hybrid engine block. A novelty advanced compared to the first schedule put in place by Maranello, which expected to deploy its revised and corrected block for Canada at the beginning of June.

But a start to the 2019 campaign well below the Prancing Horse's expectations in terms of results undoubtedly pushed the Italian management to bring forward this “Evo”. A version which will, however, remain exclusive to the two SF90 single-seaters of Sebastian Vettel et Charles Leclerc.

In fact, neither Alfa Romeo Racing nor Haas F1 Team will not be able to count on this block, as we were able to understand in the Catalan paddock. However, no information has been received on the release schedule for this update of the Ferrari engine for customer teams.
