Barrel for Neuville at shakedown

Start a round of the World Rally Championship (WRC) head upside down, that's not what was expected Thierry Neuville and Nicolas Gilsoul (Hyundai). The Belgian duo in fact went into a barrel roll on Thursday early in the morning, during the shakedown of the Rally from Catalonia (Spain).

 

The Hyundai i20 WRC of the leaders in the general classification made a mistake during the second pass while negotiating a hairpin on the right. Fortunately, the damage appears minor, and the crew is unhurt.

 

 

Remember that in 2014, Thierry Neuville destroyed his Hyundai i20 during the Rally Germany shakedown. That didn't stop him from achieve your first WRC success a few days later !
