Lohéac – Belevskiy does not tremble

The qualifying heats for the Supercar category kept all their promises!

Andreas Bakkerud, the most French of the Norwegian drivers, was the first to panic the times. Driving the ES Motorsport team's Fabia, Bakkerud was the fastest in Q1... passing twice in the Joker Tour. A maneuver already seen in World RX on this same circuit with a certain Petter Solberg. There, Bakkerud thought he had taken a penalty for an early start, a form of incomprehension, but the management then decided to relegate Bakkerud to the last place in Q1.

Engaged at the wheel of an ex-EKS Audi S1, Yuri Belevskiy inherited the victory before winning Q2 and leading the provisional classification at the end of this first day.

Present in Brittany for a “one shot” with a Clio from Team GCK, Jean-Sébastien Vigion was on par with the European references with provisional second place ahead of Fabien Pailler.

Author of the 2nd time in Q2, Jean-Baptiste Dubourg (208), winner in Faleyras, ended the day ahead of Samuel Peu (208), the current leader of the French Championship, to complete the Top 5.

In Super1600, Anthony Paillardon (Audi A1) won Q2 to beat David Bouet (Clio 5) on the evening of this first day. Winner of Q1, Nicolas Eouzan (Twingo) completed the podium ahead of Julien Meunier (Twingo) and Dylan Dufas (Twingo).

Luc Derrien finished first in the Junior category at the end of this first day. Valentin Lumet placed himself in ambush in second place in front of Tom le Jossec, the local of the stage. For his competitive debut, Mathys Delecour entered the provisional Top 10.

Already three rounds for the Coupes de France

“Only” 11th in Q3, Emma Chalvin retained control of the Women's Cup ahead of Chloé Danveau and Chanel Launay.

Fastest in Q2 then Q3, Nicolas Beauclé (Mercedes Class A) was ahead of Morgan Gourdan (208) and Paul Cocaign (Clio) on the 4WD side of D3. Engaged in a double program this weekend between Supercar and D3, Anthony Pelfrenne is in 6th place in both categories, a good average.

The gaps are small in Division 4, Nicolas Bothorel (DS 3) and Tony Bardeau (Civic Type R) are both credited with the same number of points with an advantage for the first mentioned thanks to his victory in Q1. Jean-Mickaël Guérin (206 RC) and Arthur Barbault-Forget (208) are fighting for third place.

The second day promises many surprises, many of them want to add their name to the list of winners of the legendary Breton event.
