26 Hours at full tilt in the Lamera Cup

Two months after celebrating its tenth anniversary, the Lamera Cup continued the festivities with a 26-hour race on the Portimao circuit, billed as the longest modern endurance event of the year.

The flagship event of the Lamera Cup season, the Portimão race was played out over 693 laps which left little respite for the 27 crews and 119 drivers entered. For the challenge that participating in such a long event represents. For the technicality of its layout. For the number of points awarded too, greater than in any other event. Reasons which explain why, in each of the three categories – Elite, Pro-Am, Gentleman – the contenders for the title did everything to win.
