Bellissima Ferrari 499P!

A page in motorsport history was written last weekend. On the Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit, in Imola on the occasion of its Finali Mondiali, Ferrari lifted the veil on the Hypercar prototype which will represent it at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023. This will also mark the end of 50 years of absence in the premier category of Endurance.

Since 1973, followers of 24 Hours of Le Mans eagerly hope for the return, in the premier category of theEndurance, from the most legendary of automobile manufacturers, Ferrari. Even more so since the surprise announcement of this comeback at the beginning of 2021. Of course, Ferrari has never really left Sarthe, remaining faithful to the Le Mans classic in various forms. Particularly in Grand Tourism with AF Corse in recent years. With success, since the Amato Ferrari team has won four times at Le Mans (2012, 2014, 2019, 2021). However, nothing beats the prestige of a victory in the general classification, which represents a distant memory for the firm of Maranello who felt the need to taste that thrill again.

Obviously Ferrari has erased the 333s F1990 from the history books...
