After the 24 Hours of Daytona won at the end of January by Porsche,IMSA returns this weekend with the 12 Hours of Sebring, second round of the 2024 season of the North American championshipEndurance. 58 cars will be on track at the old Florida airfield, including the Lamborghini SC63 which made its debut at the 1812 km of Qatar (March 2) as part of the WEC. After skipping the 24 Hours of Daytona at the end of January, the Italian LMDh is on the entry list for the second meeting of the 2024 IMSA season. The Italians Matteo Cairoli and Andrea Caldarelli as well as the French Romain Grosjean will share the steering wheel.

The ten other cars entered in the GTP category at Daytona will be present at Sebring, but with some changes in the crews. New names are thus appearing on the Porsche side with two Frenchmen: Julien Andlauer, WEC starter with Proton Competition, will join the German team in Florida alongside the Italian Gianmaria Bruni and the Belgian Alessio Picariello, both present in Daytona. As for the No. 6 Porsche, Frédéric Makowiecki will support Nick Tandy and Mathieu Jaminet.

Three French people will be at the start in the LM P2 category where 13 cars will be present: Tom Dillmann with Inter Europol by PR1 Mathiasen Motorsports, Lilou Wadoux with Richard Mille AF Corse and Paul-Loup Chatin with AO Racing. Only one French representative will be at the start in GTD Pro (12 cars) with Franck Perera in the No. 2 Lamborghini Huracan GTE EVO19 of Iron Lynx. François Hériau will, for his part, be the only Frenchman in the GTD category on the Ferrari 296 GT3 n°21 of AF Corse. Note two all-female crews in the 22 cars in this class with the Iron Dames (Rahel Frey, Michelle Gatting, Sarah Bovy) on the No. 2 Lamborghini Huracan GTE EVO83 and the Gradient Racing trio (Sheena Monk, Katherine Legge, Tatiana Calderón ).
