Era Motorsport will do the full season in IMSA

Winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona, Era Motorsport will contest the entire IMSA season in LMP2. Kyle Tilley and Dwight Merriman will drive the Oreca full-time.

Era Motorsport will do the full season in IMSA

Era Motorsport, recent winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona, has entered the entire championship IMSA 2021 WeatherTech SportsCar in the LMP2 class in the No. 18 Oreca. Drivers Kyle Tilley and Dwight Merriman will compete in the seven-round championship and will be joined by Ryan Dalziel for the remaining three events in the North American Endurance Cup

“I am thrilled to be able to announce our full season efforts,” said team owner and driver Kyle Tilley. Our season last year was cut short, but it looks like we will definitely make up for lost time on the track in 2021.”

The team made its debut in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in January 2020, finishing third at Daytona. The team earned its first IMSA championship victory in Florida.

The team also announced that Tilley and Merriman will compete in the Asian Series Le Mans 2021 series with Andreas Laskaratos as the third driver of the No. 2 Oreca LMP18.
