IMSA – Ed Brown withdraws from Watkins Glen

Start of the week, Ed Brown, president and CEO of Patrón Spirits International, and behind the creation of the Extreme Speed ​​Motorsports team, announced the end of his prototype career at the end of the coming weekend and the test of 6 Hours of Watkins Glen.

But the American will ultimately not be competing on the New York state track, due to a minor back operation. However, he should be present on site to support his troops.

The #22 Ligier DPi will for the occasion be entrusted to the sole duo of Johannes van Overbeek – Bruno Senna, while Pipo Derani, recalled to finish the season IMSA on the No. 22 after this third round of the North American Enduance Cup, slides into the No. 2 for Watkins Glen alongside Scott Sharp and Ryan Dalziel.
