Start of the week, Ed Brown, president and CEO of Patrón Spirits International, and behind the creation of the Extreme Speed Motorsports team, announced the end of his prototype career at the end of the coming weekend and the test of 6 Hours of Watkins Glen.
But the American will ultimately not be competing on the New York state track, due to a minor back operation. However, he should be present on site to support his troops.

The #22 Ligier DPi will for the occasion be entrusted to the sole duo of Johannes van Overbeek – Bruno Senna, while Pipo Derani, recalled to finish the season IMSA on the No. 22 after this third round of the North American Enduance Cup, slides into the No. 2 for Watkins Glen alongside Scott Sharp and Ryan Dalziel.
