IMSA – ESM concludes testing for the 24 hours of Daytona

ESM concluded the "Roar before the 24", the official tests for the 24 Hours of Daytona, by obtaining the best time of the last day with a lap completed in 1'39"438 by Luis Felipe Derani at the wheel of the Ligier JS P2 which he shares with Scott Sharp, Ed Brown and Johannes van Overbeek. The Brazilian was almost two tenths ahead of the other Ligier JS P2 entered by Michael Shank Racing which distinguished itself during the first two days of testing.

Kirill Ladygin lifted the #01 SMP Racing BR37 to third place of the day (fourth in the general classification) ahead of the Lola-Mazda of Jonathan Bomario entered by SpeedSource.

In GTLM, it was Oliver Gavin who set the best time in the category with a lap completed in 1'45"106. If the gaps remained very close, the reference remains to be put in the name of Lucas Luhr who signed a time of 1'45"088 achieved on Friday in a BMW M6 of Team RLL.

Jack Hawksworth was the fastest in PC with a time of 1'42"118 at Starworks Motorsport.

Leh Keen obtained the best time of the GTD with a time of 1'47"852 obtained at the wheel of the Porsche GT3 R from Alex Job Racing.
