IMSA - Fässler and Rockenfeller join Corvette Racing

The Corvette Racing armada will receive the reinforcement of two big names for the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring with Marcel Fässler and Mike Rockenfeller.

IMSA – Fässler and Rockenfeller join Corvette Racing

While the first tests for the next 24 Hours of Daytona begin this Tuesday on the Florida track, Corvette racing has confirmed the recruitment for the two opening rounds of the 2016 WeatherTech Sportscar Championship, at Daytona and for the 12 Hours of Sebring (Florida), of Marcel Fässler and Mike Rockenfeller. Fässler will return to a team he attended in 2009 in American Le Mans Series.

The drivers in the Audi fold WEC and DTM will be aligned with the C7.Rs entered in the GTLM category, and will find the titular drivers Antonio Garcia, Jan Magnussen, Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner, who had their lease renewed last October for the entire season across the Atlantic.
