Will Felipe Drugovich be at the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the Hypercar category? The Brazilian driver posted photos and a video on his Instagram account last night that leave little room for interpretation: the champion of Formula 2 FIA 2022 is present at Laguna Seca for testing IMSA with Action Express Racing.

Some rumors indicate that Felipe Drugovich will participate in the next 24 Hours of Le Mans with the American team, invited to the Sarthe classic thanks to his IMSA title. The red Cadillac V-Series.R, however, already has three drivers for the endurance season across the Atlantic with Pipo Derani, Jack Aitken and Tom Blomqvist. In this case, who could he replace? The last one seems the most plausible since it only acts as reinforcement on the sleeves of theEndurance Cup and above all he does not appear on the entry list for the 24 Hours of Le Mans published by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO).

Engaged in the European Le Mans Series this season with Vector Sport in LM P2, we are able to confirm that the reserve Aston Martin F1 will not be in Sarthe with the British team alongside Ryan Cullen and Stéphane Richelmi. The reason would therefore be a tenure in the classic Le Mans style in the higher category.

While Aston Martin continues to prepare its entry into Endurance for 2025 with a racing version of its Valkyrie, the multiplication of Felipe Drugovich's programs also raises questions about possible preparation for an entry into Hypercar next season.
