Magnussen and Corvette part ways

This is a new chapter being written in Jan's career Magnussen. The pilot's father Haas F1, Kevin Magnussen, left the Corvette family in which he had been playing since 2004.

In 16 years, the 46-year-old Dane has had enough to make an impression on his American manufacturer. He retired having brought 35 victories including 4 to 24 Hours of Le Mans and one at the 24 Hours of Daytona, 4 titles in IMSA as well as 17 poles, all in 156 starts.

“I have been fortunate to have such a long career with Corvette Racing, commented Jan Magnussen. When I joined this program in 2004, I never thought it would last 16 years. This team is like my second family. I am proud of the victories and titles acquired together against very serious opponents. »

Jan Magnussen could well be replaced by Jordan Taylor. Corvette is expected to make an announcement soon.
