The LMP2 category will certainly be one to watch closely at the 24 Hours of Daytona. Much larger than in previous years, it will also have a large contingent of French drivers, especially from Tower Motorsport.

The team behind the Starworks entity, winner of the 24h of Le Mans in 2012 in LMP2 in particular, will field an Oreca 07 in the hands of Gabriel Aubry, Matthieu Vaxiviere and Timothé Buret alongside owner John Farano.

Gabriel Aubry already has two appearances under his belt in LMP2 with PR1 Mathiasen Motorsport, for a fourth and a second place. Although experienced in LMP2, Vaxiviere and Buret will make their debut at the 24 Hours of Daytona, in a crew that will be able to play for victory.
