USC – Extreme Speed ​​Motorsports on pole at Laguna Seca

Extreme Speed ​​Motorsports has finally managed to put an LMP2 at the head of the USC peloton which will be separated into two races, the first being reserved for P2s and GTLMs, while the second will feature PCs and GTDs. On the Laguna Seca circuit (California), Johannes van Overbeek distinguished himself by taking pole position with a time of 1'18"561 achieved in the No. 03 HPD ARX-2b, which was two tenths ahead of the Corvette. DP n°90 of the Spirit of Daytona driven by Richard Westbrook, while the second LMP2 from ESM occupies third place thanks to Ryan Dalziel who beat the Oak Racing Morgan-Nissan driven by Gustavo Yacaman.

Antonio Garcia a signé la pole des GTLM sur la Corvette C7R n°3 avec laquelle il a réalisé un temps de 1’22 »373 pour devancer de deux dixièmes la BMW Z4 GTE n°56 de Jon Edwards. La Porsche 911 RSR n°911 de Nick Tandy pointe au troisième rang devant la second Corvette d’Oliver Gavin et la seconde BMW d’Andy Priaulx.

Bruno Junqueira took pole for the second event with a time of 1'19"723 at the wheel of the RSR team's FLM09. In GTD, it was Spencer Pumpelly who was the fastest with a lap completed in 1'26"695 in the No. 8 Flying Lizard Motorsports Audi R45 LMS.
