USC – Scott Dixon strengthens Ganassi at Sebring

From the 12 Hours of Sebring (March 21), second round of the season, Chip Ganassi Racing will only enter a Riley-Ford in the United SportsCar Championship. The Americans Joey Hand and Scott Pruett, starters throughout the season, will receive reinforcement from Scott Dixon during the Florida clock round.

Winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona in January alongside Kyle Larson, Tony Kanaan and Jamie McMurray, Scott Dixon is offered the opportunity to add another renowned endurance race to his record. “The team started the season well by winning at the 24 Hours of Daytona with the #02, and the #01 won at Sebring (thanks to Pruett-Rojas-M. Franchitti. Editor’s note) at the beginning of last year » recalls the 34-year-old New Zealander.

Scott Dixon a déjà pris part aux 12 Heures de Sebring. En 2008, il s’était même offert le luxe de signer la pole-position, au volant de la HPD ARX-01b du De Ferran Motorsports, devançant deux Porsche RS-Spyder du Penske Racing, une Peugeot 908 HDi FAP and two Audi R10 TDIs.
