USC – Wayne Taylor Racing loses its podium at Daytona

The No. 10 Corvette DP of Jordan Taylor, Ricky Taylor and Max Angelelli lost its podium at the 24 Hours of Daytona (Florida) contested last weekend and was demoted to 16th and last place in the Prototypes. Wayne Taylor Racing was penalized for exceeding the track time limit for a driver, with Jordan Taylor having driven more than four hours in six hours.

If the team realized their mistake after exceeding the limit by only a few minutes, the commissioners had no choice but to apply the rules. The latter even showed clemency leaving Wayne Taylor Racing classified. “We are obviously disappointed with this error resulting in a penalty. We understand this sanction and we will not discuss it”, said Wayne Taylor. “We will move forward and do our best to win the Championship which is one of the most difficult. »

The last step on the podium of the 24 Hours of Daytona goes to the No. 90 Corvette DP of Visitflorida.com Racing driven by Richard Westbrook, Michael Valiante and Mike Rockenfeller.
