The rise of Sarah Bovy

At the end of July, Sarah Bovy won the Gold category of the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, associated with Michelle Gatting, Rahel Frey and Doriane Pin. A success arrived halfway through a marathon season. The Belgian tells us about her rise in the world of GT for more than fifteen years.

The rise of Sarah Bovy

On July 28 and 29, 2007, Sarah Bovy took part in the 24 Hours of Spa for the first time. Having barely turned 18, she set off at the wheel of a Gillet Vertigo and became the youngest driver in the history of the race. Fifteen years later, she also entered the legend of the event by becoming a category winner. A trophy which salutes the last fifteen months of its rise to power. It's a reality. From the Formula Renault Academy in 2004 until 2020, Sarah Bovy's motorsport career had never really taken off. It's not offending him to say it. During these years, in the shadows, his talent was not sufficiently highlighted.
