From the next 24 Hours of Daytona 2023, the Frenchman will join Iron Lynx and Lamborghini before moving to the Italian LMDh in 2024, while continuing his program in IndyCar. The adopted American explains his choice to us.

Romain, this is big news! How do you feel about this adventure? Endurance ?

This is a great project for a variety of reasons. Representing a prestigious manufacturer like Lamborghini is a source of pride. Then, Endurance is something that has attracted me for quite some time. I did the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2010 (in a Matech Competition Ford GT1 alongside Thomas Mutsch and Jonathan Hirschi. Editor's note) and I loved the experience. I also participated in the Virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans during Covid with my Esport team (R8G E-Sports) and that rekindled the flame. I wanted to come back there. The extremely positive side of the United States andIndyCar, is to be able to align yourself with the Endurance rounds of theIMSA. It's a project that allows me to keep the side car which I am passionate about.

What do Lamborghini and Iron Lynx mean to you?

Fast cars with perfectly recognizable shapes. When you see a Lamborghini in profile, you know straight away that it’s one.
