Since the machines of WEC put their wheels on the track of the Sebring International Raceway, Alpine (Andre Negro, Nicolas lapierre, Matthieu Vaxiviere) was not beaten by Toyota only on the occasion of the first session of the Prologue. The rest of the time, the A480 finished ahead of the Japanese prototypes. This was again the case this Wednesday afternoon during the second Free Practice session of the 1000 Miles of Sebring with the best time for the French team in 1:50.845. The Toyota GR010 nº8 (Brendon Hartley, Sébastien Buemi, Ryo Hirakawa) only took fifth place at 0.535.

The LM P2s were once again interspersed, with the #22 United Autosports USA (Filipe Albuquerque, Phil Hanson, Will Owen) in 1:51.058. The two WRTs completed the podium in this category with the #41 (Rui Andrade, Ferdinand Habsburg, Norman Nato) ahead of the #31 (Sean Gelaerl, Robin Frijns, René Rast). You have to go down to 8th place overall to find the second Toyotam, number 7 of Mike conway, Kamui Kobayashi and Jose Maria López. The SCG 007 LMH from Glickenhaus only appears in 14th place.

In GTE Pro, the Porsche nº92 continues to set the best times with Michael Christensen and Kevin Estre. In GTE Am, it is theAston Martin Vantage AMR from the Northwest AMR team (Paul Dalla Lana, David Pittard, Nicki Thim) who stood out with the best time.
