After the red flag caused by José Maria's exit from the track López, 1000 Miles of Sebring resumed with 3h44 of racing still to go on the clock. While the only Toyota still in the running, number 8, was in the lead at the time of the neutralization, Brendon Hartley was forced to stop when the race restarted due to an empty tank. This allowed theAlpine A480-Gibson to regain the lead of the race. Andre Negro is one lap ahead of Ryo Hirakawa three hours from the goal. Ryan Briscoe completes the podium for Glickenhaus.

United Autosports USA regained first position in LM P2 with the #22 driven by Paul di Resta. The British driver is ahead of the Prema, still led by Louis Delétraz. The WRTs moved up to third and fourth place with the #41 of Norman Nato and the #31 of René Rast.

The situation has evolved in GT. On a shifted strategy, the Porsche #92 with Kevin Estre took control of the category, with one stop less than the Corvette C8.R, now third. The Porsche nº91 is inserted with the same number of pit stops as the American manufacturer (4). The battle rages in Am, but Northwest AMR holds on in first position with Nicki Thiim. The Porsche nº56 of Team Project 1 and theAston Martin nº33 of TF Sport are in the fight for second place with Oliver Millroy and Florian Latorre as the protagonists.
