While the No. 8 Toyota lost ground, the No. 7 led by Kamui Kobayashi rushed towards victory at the 1000 Miles of Sebring.

The situation seems to be clearing up between the two Toyota one hour from the end of the 1000 Miles of Sebring. With one less stop, Kamui Kobayashi increased his lead by around ten seconds over his teammate Sébastien Buemi.

Behind the two Japanese prototypes, pole sitter Antonio Fuoco took 3rd place from the No. 2 Cadillac.
