The situation seems to be clearing up between the two Toyota one hour from the end of the 1000 Miles of Sebring. With one less stop, Kamui Kobayashi increased his lead by around ten seconds over his teammate Sébastien Buemi.

Behind the two Japanese prototypes, pole sitter Antonio Fuoco took 3rd place from the No. 2 Cadillac. There Porsche #5 of Kévin Estre probably let his hopes of a podium slip away during too long a pit stop. The #4 Vanwall lost a lot of time after a problem at the rear of the Vandervell 680, causing Jacques Villeneuve to spin. The Austrian LMH occupies 9th place in the category, between the two Peugeot .

In LM P2, Hertz Team JOTA and the No. 63 Prema take turns at the head of the category depending on the stops. Corvette is alone in the world in LMGTE Am.
