24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual – H1: E-Team WRT in control

Even before departure, a little scare in the Signatech camp Alpine, André Négrao being the victim of a connection problem. If Pierre Ragues quickly settled into his simulator, his Brazilian friend finally found a way to overcome the problem. Unfortunately, a few minutes ago, he made a mistake.

When the lights went out, Tom Dillmann retained his pole position advantage, at the wheel of the car bearing the No. 4 fielded by ByKolles-Burst eSport. But a few laps later, on the orders of race director Eduardo Freitas, the Frenchman will be forced to observe a drive-through for early departure.

In the annoyance department, let us note the exit without real consequences of Brendon Harley (Toyota Gazoo Racing n°8) in the first lap and, above all, the delay conceded by Fernando Alonso. During his first passage through the pit lane, the double winner coming out of the 24 Hours of Le Mans had to resort to various maneuvers, refueling not taking place as planned, as if the game had not detected the presence of the No. 14 of FA Racing in the pit lane. Forced to pass through the pit lane again, the Spaniard – currently stuck – is dead last, seven laps behind the leaders but is still stuck. Technicians are looking into the problem.

In GTE, the 911 RSR in the lead is not the one most expected, since it is the No. 911 88 RSR from Dempsey-Proton Racing driven during these first two stints by Loek Hartok. Next is Nick Tandy (Porsche n°93), Nicki Thiim (Aston Martin Vantage AMR n°95) and Daniel Juncadella (Corvette. C7.R of the R8G Esports Team). Charles Leclerc (Ferrari 488 GTE n°52) is 15th in the GTE.
