After two Free Practice sessions where the Glickenhaus showed itself to be the most convincing Hypercar, the third and final test session of the weekend went much less well for the American team. Pipo Derani got out after just nine minutes, at turn 14. The 007 LMH n°708 remained in the gravel and a Full Course Yellow interrupted the session. It was finally restarted with 41 minutes remaining, once the American Hypercar was returned to its box.

Both Toyota effectuaient les deux meilleurs temps de ces 60 minutes. La n°7 de Mike conway, Kamui Kobayashi and Jose Maria López signed the reference time in 2:03.225 ahead of the n°8 of Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Ryo Hirakawa at 0.202 seconds. The No. 9 Prema of Robert Kubica, Louis Delétraz and Lorenzo Colombo set the third overall time and the first in the LM P2 category in 2:04.254. Alpine (Andre Negro, Nicolas lapierre, Matthieu Vaxiviere) finished just off the podium, in 2:04.790. Glickenhaus, returning to the track after his exit, finished in 15th place, 2.300 seconds behind the best time. the No. 31 WRT (Sean Gelael, Robin Frijns, René Rast) and the No. 22 United Autosports USA (Philip Hanson, Filipe Albuquerque, William Owen) completed the LM P2 podium.

Porsches on their way

The sessions follow one another and are similar in LMGTE. The #92 of Michael Christensen and Kevin Estre once again set the benchmark in Pro with a lap completed in 2:13.102 ahead of the #91 of Gianmaria Bruni and Richard Lietz. The AF Corse n°51 of Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado took third place.

In Am, it is once again a double for the German manufacturer in this class as the n°46 of Team Project 1 (Matteo Cairoli, Mikkel Pedersen, Nicolas Leutwiler) set the best time in 2:15.351 ahead of the Dempseu – Proton Competition n)77 (Christian Ried, Sebastian Priaulx, Harry Tincknell).
