6 hours of Spa-H+4: The No. 8 Toyota remains in control

The two Japanese LM P1s were separated by less than 5″, still to the advantage of the No. 8 ahead of the No. 7, before the implementation of a second Full Course Yellow, following the departure of François Perrodo from the track. (Oreca 07 n°28 – TDS Racing), which ended its race in the tire wall. The Frenchman was able to bring his LM P2 back into the pits, which was repaired, before Ben Hanley returned to the track.

La Toyota n°8 possède désormais plus de 40″ d’avance sur la n°7, elle-même 8″ devant la Porsche 919 Hybrid n°2 Brendon Hartley. The No. 919 Porsche 1 Hybrid of André Lotterer follows in the standings, more than 50″ from third place. Stéphane Sarrazin (Toyota TS050 Hybrid n°9) and Dominik Kraihamer (ENSO CLM P1/01 – ByKolles) complete the LM P1 ranking.

In LM P2, Nicolas Cheers was in command of the category with his No. 07 Oreca 31 – Vaillante Rebellion after overtaking Pierre Thiriet (No. 07 Oreca 26 – G-Drive), but a 10″ penalty for contact with a Ford GT was imposed during of Prost's last pit-stop.

Alex Lynn put G-Drive back in the lead in LM P2, with a 5″ lead over Nicolas Prost, while Ho-Pin Tung hoists the #07 Oreca 38 – Jackie Chan DC Racing into third position.

Ferrari rush towards success

In GTE Pro, the No. 488 and No. 51 AF Corse Ferrari 71s continue their domination of the race. The two Italian GTs of Pier Guidi and Bird, separated by less than a second, have a comfortable lead over the No. 66 Ford GT of Johnson – Pla – Mücke.

Frédéric Makowiecki places the first No. 911 Porsche 91 RSR fourth in the category ahead of the second No. 67 Ford GT and the No. 911 Porsche 92 RSR of Kevin Estre. Both Aston Martin Vantage brings up the rear.
