But the passage of cars and the sun dried out the track to allow the No. 18 Audi R1 of Bernhard / Fässler to achieve the best time in 1:34:609, just ahead of the Peugeot 908 n°7 of S. Bourdais / A. Davidson who fails at 0??026 of the R18. She nevertheless remains the holder of the best time in free practice (1:34:227).
The No. 908 Peugeot 8 of F. Montagny / S. Sarrazin is third, 0 behind the No. 144 Audi. Its sister, the R1 n°18 of T. Kristensen / A. McNish is fourth at 2??2.
The LMP2 category is still dominated by the Oreca 03-Nissans. The no. 45 of Boutsen Energy Racing (D. Kraihamer / N. Ferrari dominates the GTE Pro category. The No. 458 Luxury Racing F59 Italia (Ortelli-Makowiecki) set the best time in 1:45 ahead of No. 690 of AF Corse of J. Melo / T. Vilander. The No. 71 CRS Racing F430 (K. Hummel / A. Christodoulou / P. Quaife) leads the GTE Am.
