Alessio Rovera (AF Corse) promoted to official Ferrari driver

While the Finali Mondiali takes place all weekend on the Mugello circuit, Ferrari took the opportunity to announce that its list of official drivers was enriched with a new name: that of Alessio Rovera. The 26-year-old driver is thus rewarded for his excellent season in the GTE Pro-Am category in WEC. Winner of 24 Hours of Le Mans and the championship with his teammates Nicklas Nielsen and François Perrodo at the wheel of a Ferrari from the AF Corse team, the Italian had already received the title of Revelation of the Year. Next year, he will still ride with the Amato Ferrari team, but this time in LM P2 in a double program ELMS and WEC, with this new status as official driver of the brand Maranello.
