Daniil Kvyat joins G-Drive Racing in Endurance

Daniil Kvyat will be the third driver for the G-Drive Racing team this season in Endurance, which plans to enter the European Le Mans Series and the WEC. The Russian will also go to Sebring (United States) in a month, to open the season.

As announced in our columns in recent days, a former pilot Formula 1 will discover the benches of theEndurance this season. This is Daniil Kvyat (110 Grands Prix, 3 podiums), who joins the Russian team G-Drive Racing, world champion in 2015 in the LM P2 category. The Russian will drive an Oreca 07 alongside experienced drivers James Allen (Australia) and René Binder (Austria), for the team's return to the WEC world championship. Kvyat notably carried out a series of tests at the end of last year in Estoril (Portugal), and could also join the ranks of the team at the next 24 Hours of Le Mans, alongside Sophia Floersch and Roman Rusinov, already announced.
