This year, the Hypercar category will set foot on the asphalt of the former Sebring military airport for the first time. Four cars of the six initially entered in WEC will take the start. On the Florida track, the reigning champion team in the category will be lined up on the starting grid. Mike conway, Kamui Kobayashi and Jose Maria López will be with their Toyota ready to repeat the feat this year.
The French Romain Dumas and Olivier Pla will be on board their Glickenhaus to defend the colors of entrepreneur Jim Glickenhaus with Ryan Briscoe. Alpine will also start and hopes to climb a little higher on the championship podium this year. Only Andrew negrao is included in this list, pending confirmation from Matthieu Vaxiviere and Nicolas lapierre. As expected, Peugeot reserves and prefers to concentrate on his testing program.
