Porsche remains in control at the halfway point at the Nürburgring. Neel Jani took the lead in the #919 1 Hybrid.

H+3: Porsche n°1 takes the advantage

Porsche conserve la tête au Nürburgring, mais c’est désormais la 919 Hybrid n°1 de Nick Tandy qui pointe au premier rang avec quelques secondes d’avance sur la n°2 d’Earl Bamber. La Toyota n ° 7 of Mike conway completes the provisional podium but is now around 20s behind the leader of the race. The No. 050 TS8 Hybrid of Anthony Davidson moved up to 4th place in the general classification.

Jackie Chan DC Racing keeps the lead in LMP2 with Ho-Pin Tung which now has a one minute lead over the sister car #37 of Tristan Gommendy which took second place in the category. Gustavo Menezes completes the new top three on theAlpine n°36 by threatening the second Oreca 07 of the Chinese team but having a small lead over the n°31 Vaillante Rebellion of Julien Canal.

The No. 13 of the Swiss team led by David Heinemeier-Hansson slipped to 7th behind the No. 28 of Matthieu Vaxivière's TDS Racing, but the second Vaillante Rebellion seems to be on a different strategy. Luis Felipe Derani has just taken over.

The #92 Porsche remains at the head of the GTE pro, with Michael Christensen having returned to the wheel with a few seconds ahead of the Ferrari n°51 by James Calado. The second 911 RSR of Frédéric Makowiecki remains in 3rd position ahead ofAston Martin n°95 of Marco Sorensen and the Ford GTs of Stefan Mücke and Harry Tincknell. Matteo Cairoli took the lead in GTE Am in the #77 Dempsey Proton Racing Porsche from the #98 Vantage of Mathias Lauda.
