H4 – Rebellion and Aston Martin still ahead

No surprises on the Circuit of the Americas side. Rebellion Racing continues to go it alone at the head of the Texas round of the WEC. The Nato-Senna-Menezes trio has a 29”3 lead over the Toyota n°8 and a ride on n°7.

Ultimately, it is in LM P2 that the battle is most intense. United Autosports is leading the way, but nothing is decided. The No. 07 Oreca 22 of Albuquerque-Hanson-Di Resta is 28” ahead of the No. 37 of Jackie Chan DC Racing (Aubry-Stevens-Tung) and almost a minute ahead of the No. 29 of Racing Team Nederland (Van Eerd-De Vries-Van der Garde). Jota and Cool Racing follow.

In GT Pro, theAston Martin Vantage AMR n°95 is well established in the leader's chair. Sorensen and Thimm are respectively 23" and 32" ahead of the Porsche 911 RSR n°91 and n°92, while Ferrari seems more in difficulty.

AF Corse consoles itself with the GTE Am since the 488 GTE n°83 is in the lead ahead of the two Aston Martin Vantage AMR n°90 and n°98. The 911 RSR of the championship leaders, the No. 57 of Fraga-Bleekemolen-Keating, was sentenced to more than 20 minutes in the pits due to a gearbox problem.
