Le Mans 8h – Audi n°2 holds its own against Toyota

Tom Kristensen retains the lead of the race in the No. 2 Audi when a third of the race is reached. The sister car no. 3 has returned to its box while the safety car is present again following an exit from Tor Graves.

Le Mans 8h – Audi n°2 holds its own against Toyota

Tom Kristensen keeps the lead 24 Hours of Le Mans au volant de l’Audi n°2 après 8 heures de course. Les Toyota suivent toujours à bonne distance avec la n°8 de Stéphane Sarrazin et la n°7 de Kazuki Nakajima. Lucas di Grassi replaced Marc Gené in the No. 3 Audi, who kept 4th place but lost a lot of ground against the TS030s. Mathias Beche maintains his fifth position against the HPD Strakka Racing of Nick Leventis.

Oak Racing maintains control of the LMP2 race. Bertrand Baguette leads the race in the #35 Morgan ahead of Olivier Pla's #24. Jann Mardenborough completes the trifecta in the #42 Greaves Motorsport Zytek with one stop less in the #38 Jota Sport Zytek. Aston Martin mène toujours en GTE Pro avec les Vantage n°99 de Bruno Senna et la n°97 de Peter Dumbreck dans un mouchoir de poche. La Porsche n°92 de Richard Lietz tente de rester au contact. La Porsche n°88 de Proton Competition mène désormais le GTE Am.

A new safety car entered the track following the exit of Tor Graves (Oreca 03 n°25 from delta-ADR) at the Porsche corners.
