While the #7 Toyota was leading the race at Le Mans, Kamui Kobayashi lost the lead following a mechanical problem. Porsche is the new leader.

Le Mans – H+10: the #7 Toyota falls!

Rebondissement au Mans à près de dix heures de course ! La Toyota n ° 7 of Kamui Kobayashi was idling in the Mulsannes following a clutch problem. The Japanese tries to reach the pits in first gear after stopping before the Indianapolis corner.

La Porsche n°1 de Nick Tandy s’est emparé des commandes de l’épreuve et dispose d’un tour d’avance sur la Toyota n°9 de Nicolas lapierre which is one minute ahead of Kamui Kobayashi’s No. 7. The #050 TS8 Hybrid finally left the pits with Anthony Davidson at the wheel. She is in 54th place.

The Vaillante Rebellion remain at the head of LMP2. Nicolas’ Oreca 07 n°31 Cheers remains at the head of the category, but the sister car n°13 of Mathias Beche came back a few seconds behind. The No. 38 Jackie Chan DC Racing of Thomas Laurent remains on the provisional podium ahead of the No. 25 CEFC Manor TRS Racing of Simon Trummer and theAlpine n°35 now entrusted to André negrao.

THEAston Martin No. 95 of Marco Sorensen has regained control of the GTE Pro, but the places are changing quickly since the first cars are grouped together in a few seconds. THE Ferrari of James Calado and Miguel Molina frame the #92 Porsche of Dirk Werner in 3rd position, while the #97 Vantage now driven by Jonathan Adam is in 5th place.

The No. 67 Ford GT of Luis Felipe Derani received a drive through for overtaking in a “slow zone” and slipped to 10th place in the GTE Pro. The JMW F488 driven by Dries Vanthoor remains at the top of the GTE Am.
