Le Mans – The rebuilt Krohn Ferrari

After passing the Dunlop footbridge, the drivers begin the descent from De La Chapelle towards Tertre Rouge. Remember, this is a tricky place, due to a slight bump at the connection between the 24 Hours circuit and the Bugatti. This is where Tracy Krohn came out on Wednesday during testing, hitting the rail hard, and thereby destroying his Ferrari 458 Italy.

Faced with the violence of the impact, the car had to be completely rebuilt, causing the team to miss qualifying. However, the Ferrari was finished last night, as Tracy Krohn announced: ?The team did a fantastic job on the car. We were very happy because everything was done at the last minute. We were ready to send the car out on the track when the red flag came out. It is sad. Now we have to wait to get approval from the stewards to race. »
