Frenchman Léo Roussel will compete in his first 14 Hours of Le Mans on June 15 and 24. He will drive the No. 29 Pegasus Racing Morgan-Nissan.

We saw him shine at the global level in karting, in 2011 and 2010, then try his luck in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, with Arta Engineering then Manor GP. Last year, Léo Roussel started in Endurance, in V of V, offering itself the luxury of winning a victory, two pole positions and two best laps in the race. An adaptation which convinced Pegasus Racing, which is preparing to participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 14-15) for the second time in its history, to enlist the services of the young 18-year-old Frenchman for the 82nd edition of the Le Mans classic. News falling two days after the publication of the latest version of the entry list disclosed Tuesday by the ACO.

"I couldn't have dreamed of anything better. jubilant Léo Roussel, who was able to count on the support of his uncle Patrice Roussel (six participations in the Sarthe double clock tour), and his Extreme Limite structure. The team is very solid, the chassis-engine package is currently at the top. My job will be to learn and convey my feeling of the car as best as possible. I am here to gain experience and support my teammates. » His traveling companions will be his compatriot Julien Schell and the Swiss Nicolas Leutwiler.
