The WEC will return to Sebring
Si the WEC unveiled its 2019-2020 calendar last August, there remained uncertainty regarding the Sebring meeting. A doubt which, without much surprise, was lifted today by theIMSA and WEC, who will therefore once again organize a joint meeting next year at the former Florida military airport.
The 1000 miles of Sebring will therefore take place on March 20, the day before the 68th edition of the American clock tour.
« The 2019 Super Sebring exceeded our expectations in every way, and we look forward to working with the WEC and Sebring Raceway again to make it even better in 2020 said IMSA President Scott Atherton. And Gérard Neveu, president of the WEC, added: “ It is a real pleasure to work together again with our partners at IMSA and Sebring Racevay. »
As a reminder, the 1000 miles of Sebring will serve as the sixth and antepenultimate round of the upcoming campaign.
