Ferrari 488s gain mass in Mexico

After the victory of the Ferrari 488 n°51 – AF Corse of James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi at the Nürburgring last July, the Prancing Horse car will be the most penalized by the establishment of the Balance of Performance for the 6 Hours of Mexico.

Carried out automatically this season since the German event, the BoP will make the 5 GTE gain 488 kg (from 1268 to 1273 kg), while reducing its turbo pressure by 0,02 between 4000 and 7000 rpm.

A parameter to take even more into consideration on an altitude route like that of the Hermanos Rodriguez Autodrome. The Ford GTs will see their boost increase by 0,01.

In GTE Am, only the Ferrari 488 will see its BoP modified, with a weight gain of 15 kg, going from 1288 to 1303 kg.
