Merhi will replace Vergne at the Nürburgring

The LMP2 category will see another crew change due to the clash of dates between the 6 Hours of Nürburgring (Germany) and the two New York ePrix races.

Jean-Éric Vergne will be replaced in the No. 07 CEFC Manor TRS Racing Oreca 24 by Roberto Merhi. The old pilot Toro Rosso being held back by his obligations with the Techeetah stable, he is the 2011 champion of the F3 Euro Series who will complete the crew alongside Jonathan Hirschi and Tor Graves.

Roberto Merhi defended the colors of Manor Racing in WEC last year. His program for the 2017 season has so far been less dense since he has only made one entry in F2 in Barcelona (Spain) with Campos Racing.
