The LMPH2G, this electric-hydrogen prototype developed by H24Racing, took to the track last Friday on the Bugatti circuit at Le Mans. It was the president of the ACO Pierre Fillon who found himself behind the wheel of the car in the company of Stéphane Le Foll, the mayor of the city.
The MissionH24 initiated by the ACO and GreenGT aims to set up a category dedicated to electric-hydrogen prototypes from 2024 in 24 Hours of Le Mans. The town hall is also interested in this technology, notably with the construction of a hydrogen station at Le Mans aerodrome and a fleet of hydrogen buses planned for the city.
