Pietro fittipaldi suffer " most likely " of a fracture of both legs following his accident during qualifying for the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) on Friday afternoon. The Brazilian took part in the opening meeting of the World ChampionshipEndurance (WEC) on behalf of the DragonSpeed ​​team.

Aboard the BR1 LM P1, the 21-year-old Brazilian slammed three-quarters into the tire protections in the Raidillon. The cause of the accident is still undetermined, but the prototype went straight in a curve. The red flag was raised to allow medical services to intervene.

Pietro Fittipaldi made his WEC debut in the Ardennes, replacing Renger van der Zande within the American team. His participation in the Indianapolis 500 (Indiana) at the end of May is more than compromised.
